Silent-Valley

This tour takes you to the oldest mountain range in South India, known as Mudhumalai or ancient hills. Nilgiris and adjoining wilderness comprise over 12,000 sq. kms of diverse vegetation. This trekking expedition is designed to present the anthropology and wilderness of Nilgiris and the Silent Valley region.

01	Arrival at Chennai	Transfer to hotel.
02	Chennai - Ooty	Tour of Chennai city. Visit museums, flower and fruit market, high court, Marina beach and snake park. In the afternoon board train to Mettupalayam.
03	Arrival at Mettupalayam	Proceed to Ooty. On arrival transfer to hotel.
04	Ooty - Dadaga Village	Trekking through the Dadaga Villages. Overnight at camps.
05	Dadaga Village - Badaga Village	Cross cultural interaction with Badagas. Trekking through Badaga Villages. Over might at Rest House.
06	Badaga Village -Thoda Village	Trekking through grasslands. On arrival, transfer to camps. Overnight at camp in Thoda village.
07	Thoda Village - Shola Forest- Thoda Village	Trekking through grasslands and Shola forest. Overnight at Thoda village camps .
08	Thoda Village - Kurumba Village	Trek through Shola forest and rain forest. Overnight at Kurumba villages camps.
09	Kurumba Village	Trek through rain forest. Overnight in Village camps.
10	Kurumba Village - Forest Out Post	Trek through rain forest and reach forest out post. Overnight at Forest Rest House.
11	Forest Out Post - Alleppey	Transfer to Alleppey. On arrival transfer to House Boat (Kettuvallam). Share the experience of Konkan tradition Overnight at House Boats. .
12	Alleppey - Cochin	Day/night leisure charm with its cruise in Kerala Backwaters. Overnight at House Boats.
13	Leave Cochin	Transfer to airport to board your onward flight.
